The perfect fasting diet guide!

If you're struggling to shed off some pounds but hate following diet plans, 'Intermittent Fasting Diet' is the perfect book for you! It's a very simple guide combining diet and fasting to achieve your desirable weight. Not only is the book filled with delicious and healthy recipes, but contains helpful meal plans to incorporate into your lifestyle. I highly recommend this book!

Worth a look if you are looking for a new diet option.

I have been looking for different methods to better control what I eat, and when I saw this title I figured it was worth a look. It is really a simple concept; to eat during a more limited window of time, and to make sure within that time you are eating a well balanced diet. I think I have a tendency to eat less in the morning, eat a big lunch, and then go hours without food until dinner. This doesn't work well as I find myself binge eating horrible food by the time I am home from work because I'm ravenously hungry! I tried to follow the guide, and will admit I had some issues (because I am used to eating at certain times), but it is for me mostly about adjusting my habits, rather than this book doesn't work. I started and did alright the first couple days (aside from being a little hungry toward the end of the day), but then unfortunately was rear ended and kind of fell off the horse. I assure you I will be trying this again though.
As far as the recipes go - there are lots in here. The best thing I have tried is the Maple Flavored sweet potato fries - I never thought about putting maple syrup on them! It really hits the spot. The next thing I plan on trying are the baked potatoes twice. Who doesn't like cream cheese and butter?!? There are quite a few other things that sound really good and I look forward to trying them (zucchini frittata, savory hashbrowns, etc). There are several sample day meal plans. This is helpful if you are clueless on what to eat.

I think it's important when trying "extreme" diets like this to do your homework and not rush right ...

I have been interested in fasting for a long time, and although I have tried it in the past, I never considered it as a diet method. I am currently trying to lose about 20 pounds, and along with a healthier diet and exercise I am seriously considering this diet. This book has a lot of information, including different recipes, and will be something that I will absorb over time before taking the plunge. I think it's important when trying "extreme" diets like this to do your homework and not rush right into it. I am definitely planning on giving it serious consideration in the weeks to come. The recipes alone are worth the extremely tiny price tag of a buck. So, worst case scenario I'll be trying out the recipes. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who is stuck with extra weight that they long to lose or to someone who is simply interested in a "clean" diet and wants to learn more about fasting.

My rating system is as follows:
1 Star: This product isn't only a waste of money, it's also a waste of your time. You would be better off running in the opposite direction than purchasing it.
2 Star: This product is not good by any means, but has a redeeming characteristic. That may mean top notch service, solid build quality, or even that the product is forward-thinking/progressive in concept.
3 Star: This product isn't perfect but is worthy of your time and money if it fits the budget and your expectations are not too high. Often I have purchased 3 star products because either there were no other options or the other options were too expensive.
4 Star: This product is a solid buy. I may not tell everyone I meet about how unbelievable awesome it is, but in my mind it's a great product at a great price.
5 Star: This product is awesome and will not disappoint. I often rave about it to friends and co-workers. Often it's a gamechanger or a major life-enhancer.
